Pre-K and Kindergarten Story-Activity Hour

The first story and activity hour for the Pre-K and Kindergarten students was held after school from 3:15-4:15 p.m. The students listened to the story "The Biggest Pumpkin Ever" by Steven Kroll followed by an activity. The activity incorporated a math activity that the students investigated during the pumpkin patch fieldtrip. The students used the pumpkins that they had picked out on the fieldtrip for the lesson. Through the activity the students discovered how big around their pumpkins were, if it would float and how many lines it had. After the activity the students ate pumpkin bread for snack.
