Your Child should have brought home a letter this past Wednesday along with some lyric sheets. Here is a link to a playlist that has all of the songs that will be sung at our Christmas Program on next Thursday, December 17 at 6 pm at the Church. Please encourage your children to practice over the upcoming days so that we can be prepared!
Every year, here at Saint John Vianney, we adopt a child from the Gallatin Child Care Center as our classroom Christmas Angel. The children we adopt are those that come from less fortunate families, than ourselves, and could use a little extra Christmas cheer this time of year. The gifts brought in for our angel do not have to be new. Anything like new, or gently used, is also always appreciated. However, you may also hit the stores during your holiday shopping! We ask that all gifts be brought in by Tuesday, December 15th. Please wrap your gifts, and I will label them, before delivery to the school library for pick up. Below you will find the information for our classroom angel. Thank you so much for you participation in this Social Justice project, and remember to always count your blessings! God Bless!
Saint John Vianney Students (from Pre-K to 8th grade) wanted to show their appreciation to all of the golfers and sponsors of the 3rd Annual “Tee off for Technology” golf tournament. Students not only decorated boxes for the golfers’ boxed lunches, but they also took the time to write and address Thank You notes to each golfer and sponsor. The students are very excited to be a part of the event, and they understand that they are the ones who will benefit from the funds raised. All funds raised will go to upgrade technology to SJV.
We are off to a great start with red ribbon week! Yesterday we celebrated teaming up against drugs, by wearing our favorite sports shirts! Today we are celebrating by putting a cap on drugs and sporting some cool and crazy hats! If you’ve misplaced, or forgot the rest of the themes for the week, here is a quick reference…
Believing that each child is a gift from God to be cherished, guided, and protected, the mission of St. John Vianney Catholic School is to assist families and the Church in their responsibility of forming educated Christians who lovingly serve God in this life, so as to be with Him forever in the next.
