At the beginning of November the first grade was given a challenge. They were asked to read for 20minutes each night. For every night they read, they earned 1 “star buc”. Our goal for the month was 200, and we reached it! As a reward, we celebrated with an ice cream party! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication. Now let’s do again in December!

The first graders are so thankful for our fifth grade buddies. In this season of giving, we would like to give thanks to our fifth grade buddies! We were able to recently spend time with them creating our turkey centerpieces for the school feast.
We hope all of you will join us on Tuesday, November 24th. This will be a great time to spend with our family, friends and teachers as we come together as a school community to celebrate all our blessings! Please come, and bring your appetite!
Many thanks to the middle school students who helped decorate for El día de los Muertos!
Saint John Vianney Students (from Pre-K to 8th grade) wanted to show their appreciation to all of the golfers and sponsors of the 3rd Annual “Tee off for Technology” golf tournament. Students not only decorated boxes for the golfers’ boxed lunches, but they also took the time to write and address Thank You notes to each golfer and sponsor. The students are very excited to be a part of the event, and they understand that they are the ones who will benefit from the funds raised. All funds raised will go to upgrade technology to SJV.
Monday got us off to a great start with STEM activities. All the students learned a great deal in a very fun environment. Even though Tuesday- Thursday were more calm, we still enjoyed wearing our caps and sunglasses, and bringing a special stuffed friend to school! Friday ended the week with an upbeat pep-rally and a spirited Fall Party!
