Sheila Ferrell

4th Grade Teacher

Why SJV?

“Ever since moving to Gallatin from West Tennessee, I wanted an opportunity to become a part of the community in which I now lived. Teaching at SJV has given me that chance. The smaller setting of SJV allows me to teach the whole child including watching each student grow spiritually and educationally. I am excited at the prospect of positively impacting the next generation and their families.” – Sheila Ferrell

Mrs. Ferrell moved to Gallatin in 2014 from West Tennessee. She has worked in education for 13 years including 11 years at Covington Elementary in Covington, Tennessee and 1 year with Metro Nashville, before coming to SJV in 2015 to teach fourth grade.  Mrs. Ferrell earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Memphis and her Master’s Degree in Education from Union University.  In her spare time she enjoys attending local craft fairs, kayaking and spending time with her son, daughter and their families.
