“I knew I wanted to become a teacher from a very young age. However, instead of listening to the little voice inside my head, I went to college to earn a business degree. When I finally realized how unhappy I was, I started listening to my heart and what God was calling me to do, TEACH! I never looked back after that, and have enjoyed teaching for the past 25 years! Teaching for me is not a job; it’s a mission. I love seeing the spark in a child’s eyes, and know that I was the one who ignited that spark! I chose to be a Catholic school teacher because I love inviting Jesus into the classroom to be part of our family. I didn’t give up on my business dream. I just made teaching children my dream business!” -Rita Antone
