1^st Grade Teacher

Mrs. Montgomery grew up in Arizona and attended Northern Arizona University, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in both Elementary and Special Education in 2004.  She has taught first grade for four years in both Arizona and Tennessee.  Prior to teaching she worked with special needs students and instructed various after school programs.  In 2006 she married her husband, Rob, a native Tennessean.  They started a family soon thereafter and moved to Gallatin in 2008.  She has been with the SJV family now for over a year as the first grade teacher and loves it.  In her spare time she enjoys playing with her daughter, Juliet, who also attends SJV, running, gardening and reading.
