Why SJV?

“When God closes a door he opens a window.  When my employer sold the company and my position was eliminated, it was a perfect opportunity to volunteer here at St. John Vianney while my daughter (Katie 2008 graduate) was in school.  My first assignment was to assist Kindergarten with ITBS testing.  The rest they say is history.  I have been blessed enough to hold various positions within the school since 2008 as Teacher’s Aide, Substitute Office Secretary and Teacher, School Board member, Photographer, Athletic Board member and classroom volunteer.  Working alongside the teachers provided me a greater understanding of how they guide and inspire the students and the tremendous amount of work they perform on a daily basis.  I have a great love for the students and staff here at SJV and they have always made me feel like a valuable part of their team.”

Kathy is a Massachusetts native but considers Tennessee her home since 1992.  She has held various positions in the metal building industry here in Tennessee as a Senior Buyer and Accounts Payable Supervisor.  Kathy resides in Gallatin with her husband Jeff and daughter Katie.
