Jill Wise
3rd Grade Teacher
Mrs. Wise was born and raised in Joliet, IL. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from University of St. Francis in Joliet and her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. Mrs. Wise began her career teaching in an inner-city school setting, but decided to stay home when her first child was born. When her second child began preschool, Mrs. Wise taught Pre-K classes at her son’s school. During the years, Mrs. Wise’s family moved often. Throughout this time, she taught at both private and public schools. In addition to teaching third grade for three years, Mrs. Wise taught RCIA for four years at St. Paul Catholic Church in Brandon, MS. Mrs. Wise resumed her career as a stay-at-home-mom after being blessed with her daughter, Rayanne. Mrs. Wise began her a career at St. John Vianney as the fourth grade homeroom teacher and the fifth grade Language Arts teacher in 2010. Mrs. Wise has been married to her husband, Mike, for twenty-five years. They have three children: Jake, a United States Marine, currently stationed at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina; Mic a Business Finance major at Tennessee Tech; and Rayanne, who attends St. John Vianney. Mrs. Wise feels blessed to be a part of the St. John Vianney School family.
