6^th Grade Homeroom

English & Literature (5^th – 8^th Grades)

Mrs. Cynthia Roberts earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from Blue Mountain College.  She has enjoyed teaching classes from 6th grade through 12th grade Advanced Placement.  She first worked at Potts Camp High School in Mississippi where she taught 11th-12th grade and AP English, served as the yearbook sponsor, the cheer sponsor, the drama club sponsor and Senior Class Sponsor.  After marrying and moving to Tennessee, she worked at Shafer Middle School as the 7th and 8th grade Language Arts teacher and the cheer sponsor before joining the family at SJV.  Mrs. Roberts is excited to begin her second year at SJV and hopes to continue the drama program at the school.  She loves being a part of the all of the exciting things happening at SJV!
