Why SJV?

“Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.”  – Philippians 2:3
“I teach because I want future generations to understand that apathy and ignorance contribute to the problems we face as a society.  I want students to learn to think and consider and act.  I want the children that I have the privilege to teach to walk out of the classroom wanting to be better and do better – not just academically, but as a whole person.  I want them to appreciate the value of a great education and to use their knowledge to make positive changes in the world around them.” -Mrs. Cynthia Roberts

Mrs. Cynthia Roberts earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from Blue Mountain College. She has enjoyed teaching classes from 6th grade through 12th grade Advanced Placement.
