Letter from the Principal
Dear SJV Families:

We are very excited to celebrate Catholic Schools Week starting this Sunday!  I hope many of you will be able to join us at noon that day for our annual kick off to this festive week.  The Crock-Pot Cook-Off is always a great event, filled with delicious food and fierce competition, not to mention the opportunity to spend time with members of your SJV family.  This is a free event, so just enter your favorite crock-pot recipe, or bring a dish to pass, and don’t forget your appetite!  Kids get in on the fun too with a fabulous dessert contest.  Make sure you get your RSVP form in tomorrow!  (If you’ve misplaced yours, just call the office.)

Then we start the week off right by celebrating our fabulous students!  No need to iron that school uniform Sunday night, because Monday is an out-of-uniform day for students.  But that is just the beginning of Student Appreciation Day!  I’m sure you will hear about many more surprises at the dinner table Monday night!

Please check out the schedule below for the full lineup of activities we have planned for next week.

Have a wonderful week, and thanks for the many ways you show your love for our amazing school!

God bless,

Jennifer McCormick

Principal
