Letter from the Principal
Dear SJV Families:

It seems like I say this every year, but first semester has truly gone by quickly!  It is hard to believe Christmas is only 11 days away.  Before departing for the holidays, we look forward to seeing you at our annual Christmas program on Monday evening.  It is always one of the most attended SJV events of the school year, so it is a great chance to wish all of your SJV friends a Merry Christmas, in addition to seeing our students perform.

Our SJV Annual Giving Campaign is off to a great start!  So far, 21% of our faculty/staff and 13% of our families have responded.  Thank you for your contributions of both prayer and donations to our school!  It is not too late to respond.  If you have misplaced your card, more are available in the office.  Thank you for considering supporting our campaign and our school with prayers and/or monetary contributions.

I pray that your Christmas and extended break will be full of love and laughter with friends and family, and may your travels be safe and your days be healthy.

Have a blessed Christmas,

Jennifer McCormick

The annual SJV Christmas Program is right around the corner!  This special evening gives us all the opportunity to celebrate the true meaning of this season, while enjoying the talents of our students and fellowship with one another.  This year’s program is Monday, December 18 at 6pm at the main church.  Students in 8th grade, as well as Pre-K through 2nd grade, should be hearing from their homeroom teachers soon about what students should wear for this evening.  Students in 3rd through 7th grade should wear “Sunday Best” and/or holiday attire (no jeans, t-shirts, or tennis shoes, please).  Students should arrive at the church at 5:45 pm.  The program should last no more than an hour, and features each and every student in our school.  We look forward to seeing you there!

We are currently accepting applications for an aftercare supervisor.  The position hours are 3:30 pm to no later than 6:00 pm on all full days of school, and the pay rate is $8.25/hour.  Interested applicants should contact Mrs. McCormick.
