Newsletter for the week of November 8-14, 2017

Letter from the Principal
Dear SJV Families:

November is moving quickly and it will be Thanksgiving Break before we know it!  Please make sure to help your student do his or her best by staying the course, despite the many distractions of the upcoming holiday season.  Things like eating a healthy breakfast and having a consistent bedtime become even more important now, especially when cooler weather has everyone inside more, sharing germs.  You can remind them they have a nice five-day break coming up in just 9 school days, and two weeks off a mere 17 school days after that.

I hope you have marked your calendar to join us this Friday at 2pm for our annual Veterans Day program, and have sent in your RSVP for the Thanksgiving Feast on November 21.  These events are both time-honored traditions here at SJV, where we are proudly celebrating our 15th school year.  One way we are commemorating that anniversary is with new spirit wear.  The special 15th anniversary t-shirt is a special order going on now through November 15, and additional new SJV t-shirts and hoodies will be making their way into the school office soon.  These are great ways to show your Wildcat spirit at school, at athletic events, and in the community.

Have a wonderful week!

God bless,

Jennifer McCormick
