with Him forever in the next

March 1 through March 7, 2017

Letter from the Principal:

Dear SJV Families:

I cannot thank all of you enough for your support of the Party Gras Dinner and Auction last Saturday evening!  It was a great success, as far as our SJV community enjoying time together, and though the final numbers are not yet in, I have no doubt that it was also a financial success.  It’s events like this that remind us all how wonderful SJV truly is.  We may not have the biggest school, or the most money, but we are a special place, with many unique and wonderful attributes.    We are a caring school family, and a loving home away from home, and together, we accomplish remarkable things.  Thank you for being a part of it.

Speaking of accomplishments, our students continue to do great things as they compete against not only other diocesan schools, but schools across the region.  Just this past weekend, our Science Olympiad team earned 7 medals at the Regional Competition at Volunteer State Community College, and our Forensics Team continued to win multiple events at their latest meet.  Thank you to the coaches and parents who supported their students as they have prepared for these competitions, and best of luck to our Forensics team this coming weekend at the Championship Meet!

As we say every day at SJV, God is good – all the time, and we can certainly see evidence of that here at SJV on a daily basis.  Have a blessed week!

God bless,

Jennifer McCormick
