News for the week of March 26 – April 1, 2014
Letter from the Principal
Dear SJV Families:
This week we began the fourth and final quarter of the school year. Your child’s third quarter report card is in his/her Wednesday folder. Please review it, sign, and return it, at your earliest convenience. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your child’s teacher as soon as possible.
Now that Spring has arrived (with warmer temperatures hopefully to follow!) it is oftentimes easy for students to grow distracted and eager for summer vacations. Please encourage your child to work hard right through until the end of the school year. It helps to set aside a special place and time (if you don’t already do this) for homework and studying. Also, despite the many spring sports and activity practices and events, work to maintain a consistent bedtime for your child. Working together, we can ensure a successful end of the school year for all students!
Have a blessed week!
