News for the week of February 5 – February 11, 2014

Letter from the Principal

Dear SJV Families:

Thank you so very much to all of our families for your love, support, and appreciation during Catholic Schools Week!  We are so blessed to have such a close-knit SJV family, and I’m grateful we get to set aside a special week every year to celebrate this!

I would like to ask for a favor from everyone this week.  If you have the opportunity, when talking with friends, family, co-workers, or neighbors, please consider spreading the word about SJV and all the wonderful things that are going on here.  For example:

  • For people you know with school-age children, please let them know that enrollment is now open for the 2014-2015 school year, and that we would love to give them a tour at our Open House this Sunday, or any time that is convenient for them.

  • For those you know who love music, please pass along the info on our upcoming Acoustic Evening.  Tickets are still on sale for this amazing show.

  • For those people you know who like to walk and/or run, you could invite them to participate in our 5K on April 5.  Registration is available at

Thank you in advance for your help!  I hope to see many of you at our CIA meeting on Monday!

God bless,

Jennifer McCormick
