Rockin’ in Week 14!
Hello Parents! I want to begin by apologizing for not posting last week. I hope you can forgive me! 🙂 It is a new week, so let’s start it of right! We will be working a lot this week. With the Thanksgiving break upon us, I would like to get as much as possible in before that week. Your students have really been working very hard lately and I couldn’t be more proud of them. I know that this year has been a HUGE step up from what they have come from. They are really starting to get the hang of things and approach new lessons with an open mind and ready/willing to learn. I am pleased with their growth thus far, and I hope you are too. There are a few things I want to remind you of:
The Annual Thanksgiving Fest form was due Last Tuesday, November 12. I hope that all of you were able to turn it in. If you still have yours, please get it in ASAP.
This Saturday night, there will be a Ladies’ Night Out in the Gym! I hope that some of you will be able to attend. I have heard from others that it is a blast!
If you have any empty water bottles (16.9 oz.) at home please send them in! 3rd and 4th grade are responsible for some of the center pieces at this year’s Thanksgiving Feast. We will be using these for our projects. Any donations will help!
Interim Reports will be coming home Wednesday! Make sure to check the Wednesday Folder for them. Also, make sure to sign and return them promptly by the end of the week! On this note, please be placing all graded paper into your child’s expandable file. We have had issues lately when we have tried to find past papers to reference to, and they are missing. This is not a huge inconvenience, but it does hinder our learning.
Wednesday will be Wildcat Wednesday for those involved in Basketball. Students may wear their jersey, jeans, and white tennis shoes.
There is no school mass (Thursdays) for the next two weeks. This is due to Father Gideon’s schedule and the holiday.
There is a school board meeting at 7:00 this Thursday evening.
This Week’s Playlist:
Religion: Finishing up the chapter. Test on Thursday. (For this past lesson I tried using a different religion book series. I found the lesson to be more engaging. I believe the students did too. I hope to continue using some lessons from this series to accompany our regular religion series.)

Spelling: /ow/ sound and inflectional ending – ed. Week 14 Spelling List Spelling test on Friday
