Reading– Asking Questions and Clarifying and ask questions to generate ideas for an autobiography, learn about using pictures as a writing strategy, form letters I and n correctly and control the size of letters, identify and replace initial phonemes in words, identify and segment final phonemes in words, identify words that begin and end with the /n/ sound and  blend, spell and read words that  contain /n/ spelled n, discuss and retell story events, develop vocabulary by listening to and discussing the selection and draw conclusions about “Suki’s Kimono, identify and replace initial consonant sounds, identify and segment final consonant sounds in words, generate the sound /i/, identify the i spelling for /i/, blends, spell and read words that contain /i/, activate prior knowledge about the first day of school and understand selection vocabulary words, listen to and discuss “Wolf!” and be introduced to the comprehension strategies Predicting and Summarizing and apply the strategy Visualizing. 
Reading comprehension– practice Sequence to determine the order of events or steps in a process.

Math– identify the number(s) between numbers 0-9Sorting by One Attribute, Lesson 15-2 Sorting by One Attribute and Lesson 16: Counting Pennies, divide a solid in half, picture and combine sets and graph a picture on a pictograph, counting from 0 to 23 using a Learning Wrap up and make an organized list to solve a problem.

Writing- learn about the various kinds of writing that people do, form the letters l, t and y, recognize the difference among a letter, a word and a sentence and identify left to right and top to bottom directionality in writing, ask questions to generate ideas for an autobiography, learn about using pictures as a writing strategy, form letters I and n correctly and control the size of letters, use drawing pictures as a writing strategy, and begin to form letters i and n correctly and control the size of letters and introduced to nouns.

 Handwriting– workbook

Religion– understand the difference between making and creating, become more familiar with the difference between creating and making,  learn that in addition to the visible world, God also created angels, Review Chapter 3 and Quiz.

 Science– identify the similarities among plants.

Social Studies– Compare and contrast means of transportation long ago and today.
