Elementary Spanish and Music for the Week of April 29

Here’s what is planned for Spanish & Music this week:

Pre-K:  In Music this week, we will be working on music and movement with the songs of Dr. Jean.  We will not have Spanish this week due to the early dismissal on Friday.

Kindergarten:  In Music this week, we will be learning to play our newly donated bongo drums.  We will not have Spanish this week due to the early dismissal on Friday.

1st Grade:  We unfortunately missed Spanish last week due to a longer than expected rehearsal for May Crowning, so we will play bingo to practice the vocabulary for different types of food, which was planned for last week.  We will not have Music this week due to the early dismissal on Friday.

2nd Grade:   We unfortunately missed Spanish last week due to a longer than expected rehearsal for May Crowning, so we will be watching and discussing The Three Bears in Spanish, which was planned for last week.  We will not have Music this week due to the early dismissal on Friday.

3rd Grade:  In Music we will discuss cultural dances, focusing on the upcoming celebration of Cinco de Mayo.  In Spanish, we will continue working on animal name vocabulary with a game of Bingo.

4th Grade: In Music we will discuss cultural dances, focusing on the upcoming celebration of Cinco de Mayo.  In Spanish we will review from our lesson on telling time last week, and time permitting, move on to Lesson 9 in our textbook.
