Look What We Are Studying in Pre-K……
Monday-The early bidding for class projects begins today in the office. Don’t forget to bid!!!!
The Gala basket- Taste of Tennessee and the class art project are on display in the office.
Thursday April 18th and Friday April 19th-Morning drop-off will be in the school rather than in the gym on those two days. Mrs. Kemp will be guiding your student(s) into the school instead of the gym.
Please pack a lunch on Thursday and Friday including a drink and any spoons or fork they will need. The cafeteria will be closed!!
Saturday April 20th-The Gala, don’t forget to get your ticket.
Theme- The students will discuss different modes of transportation, identify how people and products get from place to place and will demonstrate their knowledge of transporting goods from farms and factories to stores.
Language Arts– The students will be able to learn how to make new words and introduce onsets and rimes _ip. Introduce _an. Review High-Frequency Words; I, are, in, is, and, the, and on. Introduce “he” .

Religion– Read John 1:43-51. The students will tell others about Jesus, and call them to follow Him, just as Philip called Nathaniel to follow Jesus.
Writing- Continue writing student names in upper and lower case letters. Trace names with pencil, than write name on lined paper. Make letters in their names with play dough. Workbook page 66-67
Computer Class- The students will continue practicing their mouse skills and key board skills. Please continue to encourage your child to practice these skills at home.
Math- The students will identify and name common 2-D and 3-D geometric shapes. The students will also use position words to describe the location of objects.
Science– The students will recognize the basic concert that forces can move objects and that sound is produced when two objects collide.
