Look What We Are Studying in Pre-K……
the Gala basket- Taste of Tennessee and the class art project is on display in the office.
the Gala is April 20th, don’t forget to get your ticket.
Theme- Students will investigate the world around them using their five senses. The students will pretend to be deaf while they are exploring how a deaf student communicates with out the sense of hearing.
Language Arts– The students will be able to learn how to make new words and introduce onsets and rimes _at, _ug and _ig. Introduce _an. Review High-Frequency Words; my, the, and, a, have, you and in. Introduce “I”. Rebus Picture cards bike, garage and bikes. Handout book 11: The Bike.
Religion– Matthew 22:34-40. The students will demonstrate how they share Jesus’ love through kind words, loving smiles and helpful actions.
Writing- Continue writing student names in upper and lower case letters. Trace names with pencil, than write name on lined paper. Make letters in their names with play dough. Workbook page 64-65.
Computer Class- The students will continue practicing their mouse skills and key board skills. Please continue to encourage your child to practice these skills at home.
Math- The students will make direct comparisons of objects, based on length.
Science– The students will examine different kinds of tastes, sweet, sour, salty and bitter.
