Language Arts:

Monday- benchmark comprehension assessment

Tuesday- Unit 4 reading test

Students will be actively participating in Thanksgiving themed literacy centers.


Tuesday- Written assessment

Students will write a persuasive letter to Mr. Farmer  and try and persuade him to not have turkey for dinner.  The students will be writing from the turkey’s point of view.


We will be getting ready for the savior and define the word “prophet”.   We will listen to the story of Moses and the burning bush.  Be introduced to the ten commandments.  We will also discuss what we are thankful for this holiday season and the many blessings that God has given us.


Counting dimes and pennies, telling time to the hour, working on fact families and actively participating in math centers that are Thanksgiving themed.

Social Studies:

As we continue to discuss “where we live” we will learn more about different bodies of water, land and continue to work on our books.

11/16 No Mass – Pep Assembly 8am

11/20 Thanksgiving Feast 11-1pm
