5th – 8th Grade Spanish Classes

We are off and running in Middle School Spanish!  We have reviewed the class expectations and each student has received a textbook and workbook.

In 5th Grade this week, we will begin a basic review of conversation skills with greetings and leave-takings.  We will also begin Chapter 1 on articles and adjectives.

In 6th Grade, we have been completing the review lessons at the beginning of our textbook to go over concepts such as numbers, days of the week, months of the year, telling time, and the seasons.

In 7th grade, we worked last week with a review of the verb “ser” in the present tense, and will have a 10-question quiz on Wednesday on this concept.  We will then begin a review of the present tense conjugations of regular -ar verbs.

In 8th grade, we have been completing a review of many concepts including articles, regular present tense verb conjugations, irregular present tense verb conjugations, numbers, time, adjectives, and the verb gustar.

The course expectations were sent home in the Wednesday folder, and a copy was given to every student as well, but in case you didn’t see them, please see below:
