“Your every act should be done with love.” – 1 Corinthians 16:14

Letter from the Principal:

Dear families,

I hope you all had a blessed and restful Easter weekend!  Hard as it is to believe, there are only 32 days of school left this year!  While I know everyone is busy with the many end-of-the year events going on, don’t forget to plan for this summer as well.  Summer camp registration ends April 16, 2012, and spaces are still available.

Next weekend is also the last opportunity for SJV Parish Appreciation for this school year.  Students are still needed to read petitions and bring up the gifts at the 4:30 pm Mass on Saturday, April 21, and the 8:00 am Mass on Sunday, April 22.  Please let me know if your child(ren) would be interested in participating!

Have a wonderful week!  Many thanks for all that you do!

Jennifer McCormick

To the Bennett, Crump, Gardner, Gerstner, Rosselli, Smith, and Stromer families for using the scrip program this week for their gift card needs!  Their patronage helped raise money for the school, and earned their children an “out of uniform” pass this quarter.    You still have an opportunity next Wednesday to earn an out of uniform pass for your child.  All orders must be submitted to the school office no later than 9am Wednesday, April 18th.

We have two great, and very time flexible opportunities to earn your volunteer hours.

**Help is needed the week of April 30th – May 4th to reassemble and prime the play set so the new scenery can be painted on.  Please contact Christi Kemp at or 230-7048 and let her know if you are interested and available to help with this project.

**People are needed on May 8th and 9th to hang student art work in the gym for this year’s Art Exhibit.  If you would like to help, please contact Carla Wehby at or Christi Kemp at and let them know which day you will be here.

April 21st and 22nd is this month’s parish appreciation weekend, and readers and gift bearers are needed for the Saturday – 4:30 pm Mass and the Sunday – 8:00 am.  If you would like to show your school pride and your appreciation to the members of the SJV parish, please contact Mrs.McCormick and let her know when you would like to participate.

If you know of any SJV Wildcats that deserving recognition in our newsletter please let us know by Monday morning 10 a.m. and we’ll make sure everyone hears about it!
