“Your every act should be done with love.” – 1 Corinthians 16:14
Letter from the Principal:
Dear SJV families,
It’s a busy week at SJV! We are finishing re-registration, and I encourage you to return your registration card if you have not already done so. We have been working hard to market the school and provide prospective parents with opportunities to visit, and I anticipate that we will have classes filling up once Open Enrollment begins next Monday. We don’t want to lose any of our families, so please do not delay your response. Also, don’t forget that we have two more scheduled Open Houses this month: tomorrow (Thursday, January 18) from 6pm-8pm, and next Wednesday, January 25, from 9am-2pm. Please share this information with any friends, family, and neighbors that might be looking for a school. As always, private tours may also be scheduled by calling the office.
We will close out this month by celebrating Catholic Schools Week! Please see the details about the week’s events further down in this newsletter. I encourage you to participate in our always exciting opening event of the week – the SJV Chili Cook-off! There are two ways to participate – enter a pot of your finest chili and compete as SJV’s latest Chili Cook-off Champion, and/or buy tickets and enjoy the culinary masterpieces available from all of SJV’s best chefs! Don’t delay! The PTP needs to plan for this event, so please get your entries and/or ticket orders in this week.
Have a wonderful week, and thank you for all the gifts you bring to our SJV family!
Jennifer McCormick
